Dutch Day Respite Service is funded by the Department of Ageing,
Disability and Home Care to provide a respite service for frail aged and younger people with a
disability and their carers, from Dutch backgrounds.
We provide a range of activities and services
which are responsive to the consumers' needs and with accordance to Home and Community
Care (HACC) standards, including:
The following are available for participants:
- Support and education
- Information about other services
- A fun place to meet
- Outings, trips and table games
- Morning tea and lunch is provided
- Transport to and from home is available, if required
Referral Sources:
Referrals are accepted from any source, including self-referrals.

Cost:
$5.00 includes a Hot Dutch Lunch
Tea, Coffee and Herbal Teas
$7.00 if transport is required
Day Respite Service Hours:
We meet at the Lutheran Church Hall (15 Burelli Street, Wollongong) every second Wednesday.
