The Ethnic Meals on Wheels Food Service is funded by the Department of Aging, Disability
and Home Care (DADHC) under the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) to
provide a delivered meal service for frail, older people and/or younger people with a disability
who are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The service provides culturally
appropriate meals and covers the following areas:
Berkeley - Coniston - Cringila - Figtree - Gwynneville - Keiraville - Lake Heights
Port Kembla - Primbee - Warrawong - Windang - Wollongong
The Ethnic Meals on Wheels Food Service believes that people have a right to make
their own choices. By providing the consumer with both written and verbal information,
we hope to be able to assist you in making informed choices and decisions.
There is a choice of 60 frozen meals, with a range of culturally appropriate meals. Dietary
analysis available upon request. The service delivers weekly or fortnightly depending on the
client's need and the availability of freezer space.
People who live outside of the above areas can order and pick up their meals for the IECC office
in Wollongong.
If you or someone you know meets the above criteria and needs assistance with their meals,
